Renato Lipari

Renato Lipari began his journey into art as a youngest art collector, and becme a professional painter in later years. Since 2000, his artistic language oriented towards a rigorous study of surfaces; he expressed his creativity in conceptual works aimed to denounce dramatic social issues connected with the power and violence of money, using symbolic elements for his compositions, such as old barbed wire and fragments of banknotes (at present being the only artist in Italy to be authorised for such a use of banknotes); his images served a campaign against the lending of money at excessively high rate. Lipari is particularly connected with the "Analytic Panting" artistic movement. He started collaborating with Giudecca 795 in 2010 with the exhibit "Il colore dei soldi" (The Color of Money).
