Maurizio Baccanti

Born in 1962, he is a designer and a multifaceted artist who has been deeply dedicating his work to the creation of what he has called "Nature & Artifice" pointing out the destructive relationship between man and nature. His project includes the Plastic Sneers, a series of tridimensional sculptures collected and made up of waste materials recovered along beaches and river deltas. Not just “rubbish” but “hulks” left by our consumer society that Nature tries to transform without destroying.
