Francoise Calcagno

The ART@Hilton series of exhibits curated da Giudecca 795 Art Gallery, hosts Françoise Calcagno, whose paintings are materic and evocative, mixing colors and fragmnents of images of Venice, the places she likes the most, as the Jewish Ghetto. Photography melts with abstract painting, enlivening atmospheres with no exact timing: Calcagno's painting is vibrant, and lets signs emerge, together with lace details and images discovered in a forgotten drawer of Memory.
