the gallery

As its name - which is also its address - indicates, Giudecca 795 Art Gallery is situated on the island of Giudecca, Venice, in the 16th century palazzetto known as Palazzo Foscari. It enjoys a privileged position, a few meters from exclusive and evocative Venetian locations, such as the Harry's Dolci by Arrigo Cipriani, the Mariano Fortuny original textiles factory, and the Hilton Stucky Hotel (once the Molino Stucky, the mills of Venice). In the same palazzo where the gallery is located, entrepreneur Giovanni Stucky, and then American actress Ava Gardner (1922-1990) lived. From 1996 to 2006 the flat of the gallery was used as the Archivio musicale Luigi Nono.

With 2 rooms totalling 200 sqm., Giudecca 795 is a must-see and reference for collectors and artists, representing modern and contemporary art. Painting, sculpture, design, video, photography: Giudecca 795 Art Gallery is a place where new talents can get the same attention as more recognised artists, with the chance of international exposure (Dreams coming true section).

The gallery presents and supports some exclusive artists who are collaborating with us since long ago. New proposals can be addressed to the director at by appointment only; who wishestoi exhibit in Venice may consider the opportunity of a temprary presence.
