Teresa Barisi Morandini

Maria Teresa Barisi, born in 1964, attended the Brera Academy in Milan. She took part to collective exhibits and exhibits her hyperrealistic works at the Giudecca 795, for the first time together with her husband, the architect and optical designer Marcello Morandini, , in a most unusual artistic match. Marcello Morandini comments:
"When I hear classical musical coming from my wife's small studio, I'm sure she's concentrated in a new painting project. I know her great potentialities and artistic skills, which she can rarely express, maybe because of three daughters, or maybe it's my fault as a husband. For sure, in her best moments the music is an active emotion by which she expresses her art. Her painting is linked to the personal pleasure of representing the reality of nature, skies, clouds, branches, leaves, flowers and faces, through challenging choices, gestures and signs, lights and shadows, colors and subconscious pauses.
