Basfi (Giorgio Bassi)

Giorgio Bassi (Basfi), born in 1980, is a very materic painter - as we are material beings - who loves experimenting with different media and techniques: he uses acrilics, oils, collages, various materials preferably on juta. Reality opposed to Dream, which is transferred onto the canvas with materials, gestures, and thoughts.

Basfi's works are permanently on show at the Giudecca795 art galery.

Next event for BASFI:

“Stop That Train”, Stazione Ferrovie Nord, Gavirate (Varese), from 20 to 27 September 2008; opening 20 September at 6 PM. Free adm. Closed Basfi goes back to his personal representational style but with new creativity, in order to share images as seen by frequent travellers by train, that is hommaging trains and its users, mainly commuters, students, "common people". Basfo will exhibit works on paper and a videoclip.
