Giudecca 795

Alice Attanasio was born in Milan in 1985, where she lives and works. She graduated in Visual Arts and theory of Show Production at the IED (Istitute European Design). Her work develops into different lines of interest, both through painting, favoring oils, both through conceptual installations and video. Her research concentrates on representations of a dreamlike world, where everyday reality and fantastic reality identify themselves, like everyone can feel in particular moments of relax or during lucid dreams, when lucid will operates on the dream so that it can be controlled by the sleeper.
Winner of the 2011 ‘Special prize Giudecca 795’ at ‘Arte Laguna Prize, section under 25’, (2010/11), Venice, which she won (in the same section) in 2009/2010.
